Frozen Blueberry Yogurt

Frozen fruit yogurt, like ice cream, has a pleasant creamy taste, but unlike it contains much less calories, sugar and fat. Moreover, such a dessert will become real a storehouse of vitamins, because for its preparation a large amount of blueberries. Only a small part of it goes to blueberry syrup, and other berries along with yogurt, honey, agave syrup and lemon juice is crushed in a blender. Mix berry and yoghurt puree with syrup and freeze in the freezer. Or you can use an ice cream maker for a more uniform and dense консистенции. The recipes use dimensional capacity: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cups (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teahouse spoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 450 gr frozen blueberries, thaw
  • 1 tbsp. l + 1/3 Art. honey
  • 2 sprigs of fresh thyme 7 cm long.
  • 2 tbsp. whole milk chilled yogurt
  • 1/4 Art. agaves
  • 2 tbsp. l lemon juice

Recipe preparation:

  1. Mix 1/4 tbsp. blueberries. 2 tbsp. l water, 1 tbsp. l honey and sprigs of thyme in a small pan with a thick bottom. Mash up berries with a fork or potato pusher. Put pan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Take off cover the pan from the stove and leave for 15 minutes. Then open cover and cool the syrup a little. Get thyme out.
  2. The remaining blueberries, 1/3 tbsp. honey, yogurt, agave, and lemon juice put the cooled blueberry syrup in a blender or kitchen bowl combine harvester. Grind to an almost uniform consistency.
  3. Transfer the yoghurt mixture to a shallow glass dish for baking, cover and freeze for 2 hours, until loose masses. Stir it with a fork and put it in the freezer again for 8 hours or overnight. Use a fork to scrape the frozen yogurt and arrange it in bowls. Serve immediately.
