Easter egg

By tradition, on Easter, we bake Easter cakes, make curd Easter and paint eggs. I propose to diversify a little festive table with easter jelly eggs. These funny testicles look really gorgeous.

Easter jelly eggs

To prepare Easter jelly, we need:

  • any jam syrup 1 cup
  • chicken eggs
  • sour cream 0.5 l
  • water 1.5 cups
  • gelatin 25 gr
  • cocoa 3-4 tablespoons

You can make easter jelly eggs like this:

wash your chicken eggs thoroughly with warm water and make a little hole at the blunt end. Pour gently out of the hole the contents of the egg in a separate bowl, we do not have protein and yolk will be needed. Rinse the shell very gently with warm water.

Pour gelatin with 1.5 cups of cooled boiled water, and after 45-50 minutes, dissolve this mixture in a water bath. Cool gelatin to a warm state and divide into 3 equal parts.

In half sour cream, add sugar to taste and 1/3 part gelatin mixture, stir well and pour the egg shells half. We put in the refrigerator for 25-30 minutes.

In the remaining sour cream, add cocoa, sugar to taste and 1/3 gelatin. Stir well and fill the shells with sour cream mixture almost completely. Again, send the eggs to the fridge on 25-30 minutes to solidify.

Preheat 1 cup of syrup and the remaining gelatin, a little cool and fill the rest of the free space in shell. We put the filled shells for 2-2.5 hours in the refrigerator for complete solidification.

Jelly Easter eggs frozen neatly peel and decorate.

Tasty Ideas:

Jewelry can be made from sugar icing by adding any color food coloring. If you want to make Easter eggs jelly more colorful, then I suggest you cook easter jellied salad in jelly.
