Donut panini

Katini Lee’s Panini is a kind of dessert sandwich: She cuts a donut with apple cider, which acts as bread, in half, then spreads some ricotta cream cheese on it, sour apples and adds a drop of honey. It turns out balanced sweet and sour taste. The dish is completed with a pinch cinnamon, which will come to the apple a familiar flavor.

Donut Time: one 0min Difficulty: easy Quantity: 1 panini In recipes used volumetric containers: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 donut with apple cider
  • 1 – 2 tbsp. l ricotta cheese (depending on size donut)
  • Green apple sliced in very thin slices
  • Honey
  • Sprinkled cinnamon
  • Caramel (see recipe)

Recipe preparation:

  1. Preheat the panini press. Cut the donut with a sharp knife in half horizontally. Put ricotta cheese on it, put top a few slices of apple, pour a small amount honey and sprinkle with cinnamon. Fry in a panini press until golden brown 1-2 min., and pour with caramel.
