We offer a recipe for healthy dark chocolate ice cream, cooked at home. Ice cream is cooked on yolks, mixes of milk with cream, with the addition of dark chocolate. AT recipes use measured containers with a volume of: 1 glass (tbsp.) – 240 ml 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cups (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp. l.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 170 gr dark chocolate broken into large pieces
- 1 tbsp. milk
- 1/2 tbsp. Sahara
- 6 egg yolks
- 1 and 3/4 Art. chilled butter cream
- 2 tsp vanilla extract

Recipe preparation:
- Put the chocolate in a microwave oven and melt in microwave at intervals of 40 seconds, stirring after each of them. Stir until smooth and set aside side.
- In a medium saucepan, combine milk, sugar, and egg yolks. Cook, stirring over high heat for 7 minutes, until sugar melts, and the mixture does not thicken enough so as not to drain from a spoon. Strain custard in a blender through a fine sieve. Add melted chocolate and grind until smooth in for about 1 minute. Add heavy cream and vanilla and mix for another 30 seconds. Pour into a bowl, cover cling film and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or better all night long.
- Transfer the cooled custard to the ice cream maker and beat as indicated in the instructions. Ice cream put in tight container and freeze to harden for about 2 hours.
