Forget about the oven in your home and cook this summer cobbler in a slow cooker. Sprinkle with toasted almonds for extra crunch.

Plum filling
- 1.3 kg cut into quarters
- 1/4 Art. corn starch
- 2/3 Art. Sahara
- A pinch of fine salt
Shortbread dough
- 1 and 1/4 Art. premium flour
- 3 tbsp. l granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of fine salt
- 4 tbsp. l (60 gr.) Butter, cut into small pieces
- 3/4 Art. drinking cream with a fat content of 10%
- Powdered Sugar and Vanilla Ice Cream

Recipe preparation:
- For the filling: mix corn starch and 1/4 tbsp. water in a slow cooker. Add plums, sugar and salt and mix until homogeneity.
- For the test: beat the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Add oil and mix the mixture by hand to form pea-sized flour. Add mixture milk and cream and mix with a wooden spoon to get wet dough.
- Put the dough on the plums. Close the slow cooker and cook on high heat for 3-4 hours, until the cobler begins to bubble, and the cookies will not be ready.
