1. Select the ingredients.
Prepare no more than three of these ingredients (1 tbsp total).
- Dice celery
- Dice the carrots
- Radish, diced
- Cherry or grape tomatoes cut in half
- Seedless grapes cut in half
- Dice apple
- Diced Cucumber
- Baked pepper, diced
- Avocado diced
- Corn kernels
- Bacon, cook and crumble
- Chives, cut into thin slices (up to 1/4 tbsp.)
- Raisins or Dried Cranberries
- Roasted nuts chopped
- Red, white or sweet onion, cut into cubes (up to 1/4 Art.)
2. Prepare the dressing.
In a large bowl, whisk 2 tsp. lemon juice white wine or apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp. Dijon or whole grain mustard, 1/2 tsp salt and a pinch of pepper. Mix up uniformity 2/3 Art. one of the following ingredients.
- Mayonnaise
- Yogurt without additives
- Mayonnaise and sour cream (1/3 tablespoon each)
3. Prepare the salad.
Add 4 tbsp. grilled chicken or purchased grilled chicken (cut or fiberized) into the dressing along with the rest prepared ingredients. Salt, pepper and mix, to cover.
4. Add a sharp note or greens.
Stir in 1 or 2 of these ingredients (2 tbsp total).
- Cilantro chop
- Parsley chopped
- Chop dill
- Tarragon chop
- Chopped basil
- Chives, chop
- Fresh or pickled jalapenos, chopped
- Horseradish (up to 1 tbsp. L.)
