Caribbean beef stew in a slow cooker – a detailed recipe cooking. Time: 35 мин.plus time of languishing. Recipes use volumetric containers of volume: 1 cup (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (Art.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 700 gr. diced beef meat
- 2 peeled and sliced 5 cm large tubers sweet potatoes (approximately 700 gr.)
- 1 sliced 2.5 cm. Red bell pepper
- 1 can (370-400 gr.) Coconut milk
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 1/2 tsp ground allspice
- Salt and ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp. l wheat flour
- 2 tbsp. l finely chopped peeled ginger
- 1 lime juice plus serving wedges
- 4 chopped stalks of green onions
- 2 tbsp. ready-made white rice for serving

Recipe preparation:
- In a medium-sized bowl, mix the beef with flour and powder. curry, allspice, a teaspoon of salt and a half teaspoon pepper. Transfer beef to a 6 L slow-cooker. In a bowl put sweet potatoes and peppers and mix with the remaining flour mixture. Put on beef. Mix well in a bowl coconut milk and ginger, pour vegetables with this mixture.
- Close the slow cooker and cook at low temperature for 7 hours. Open, mix well and let stand for 10 minutes. Collect with the surface is all fat. Add lime juice and salt. Serve with rice. Sprinkle with green onions and serve with lime slices.
