Cakes with chocolate, peanuts and straws without baking

We present you another dessert without baking from Trisha Yervud – chocolate, peanut and savory pastries straws. These are crispy squares of five ingredients in which sweet and salty tastes combine, very easy to cook. The most difficult – resist temptation and wait for dessert freeze in the fridge. Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 tbsp. homogeneous peanut butter, plus 1/4 tbsp.
  • 1.5 tbsp. milk chocolate chips
  • 170 gr (12 tbsp.) Melted butter
  • 2 tbsp. crushed straws with salt
  • 1.5 tbsp. powdered sugar

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, put melted butter, chopped straw, icing sugar and a glass of peanut butter, and mix well. Press the mixture evenly to the bottom of the greased baking dish 23x33x5 cm in size. In a bowl suitable for microwave, mix the chocolate chips and the remaining 1/4 tbsp. peanut butter. Microwave at intervals of 30 seconds, stirring each time until chocolate and peanut butter will melt and not turn into a homogeneous mass. Usually two every 30 sec. Mix well, then lay on the cake straw mixed with peanut butter. Refrigerate for at least an hour, and then cut into squares.
