Before frying the ribs on the grill with spicy glaze from the purchased barbecue sauce and molasses, Sandra Lee pre-cooks them in a mixture vegetable broth and apple sauce. So the meat is juicy and preparing literally in no time. Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1 beef rib part (total about 1.3 kg.), Cut in half
- 1 tsp seasoning salts
- 1 tbsp. vegetable broth
- 1 tbsp. apple juice
- 2 tbsp. l cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp. ready barbecue sauce
- 1 tsp molasses
- 1 tsp instant espresso or 2 tbsp. l strong brewed coffee
- Sliced green apple for decoration

Recipe preparation:
- Fold the ribs in a large, heavy saucepan. Add salt with seasonings, vegetable stock and apple juice, plus so much water to cover the ribs, and bring to a boil. Reduce fire to moderately weak and cook at a low boil until the meat is tender, about 1 hour. Use a pair of tongs to remove the ribs from the pan. Cool slightly. Serve between the bones. (This can be done in advance, for 1 day. Cover and refrigerate.)
- Preheat the grill to medium temperature. In a medium bowl size mix barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, molasses and coffee. Brush the ribs with the sauce. Grill until golden brown and the formation of a thick layer of glaze, turning from time to time and pouring sauce, only about 10 minutes Decorate with green apples. Tip: You can not cook the ribs, but cook them in a slow cooker at a minimum temperature for 4 hours
