Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 4 tbsp. pulp of watermelon, peeled and finely chopped chopped
  • 3 tbsp. l mixture of nuts, coarsely chopped
  • 1/3 Art. peanut or vegetable oil
  • 2 small shallots (1 thinly sliced, 1 finely chopped)
  • Coarse salt
  • 3 lime juice
  • 1 tbsp. l fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp. l soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 piece of ginger 5 cm in size, peeled and finely sliced
  • 1 red jalapenos, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 Art. chopped green cilantro
  • 1/3 Art. chopped green basil
  • 1/3 Art. chopped mint

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, heat peanut butter to a temperature of 175 degrees. Add onion slices shallot and cook, stirring constantly, 3 minutes until golden colors. Take out with a slotted spoon and pat dry on paper towels, salt it.
  2. In a large bowl, mix 2 tbsp. l toasted oil chopped shallots, lime juice, soy sauce, fish sauce, garlic, ginger and jalapenos. Add watermelon and mix thoroughly. Let it brew for 10 minutes.
