Recipe preparation:
- In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, butter, milk, vanilla, anise extract, if used, and eggs. Add flour, baking powder and salt and continue whisking until the dough will not become homogeneous. Leave at room temperature at least 1 hour so that the dough is infused and nourished liquid.
