In recipes volumetric containers are used in volume: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cups (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (Art.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 3 tbsp. cream with a fat content of 33%
- 1 tbsp. whole milk
- 1/2 tbsp. honey
- 2 vanilla pods, cut lengthwise in half and scraped off the seeds
- 4 yolks of large eggs
- 1 tbsp. l vanilla extract

Recipe preparation:
- Heat in a pan with a thick bottom at medium temperature cream, milk, honey and vanilla pods with seeds. But not bring to the boil.
- Place egg yolks in a bowl, beat slightly. Continuing beat, slowly pour 1 tbsp. hot milk mixture. Pour out egg mixture in a pan with milk mixture and heat, constantly stirring until the mixture thickens. Check custard consistency by running a finger over a spoon. - Strain the cream through a sieve and mix in the vanilla extract. Cool the cream in a bowl installed in an ice container.
