Thick shake with banana foster flavor

  • 2 half-ripe bananas, peeled and cut into pieces
  • 500 ml vanilla ice cream
  • 1 tbsp. Sahara
  • 110 gr. diced butter
  • 1/2 tbsp. fat cream
  • 30 ml banana liquor
  • 30 ml white rum

Recipe preparation:

  1. Melt the sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. When amber color appears, add butter, stir until melting. Remove from heat and stir in cream slowly, trying do not splash. Pour half the caramel into a bowl.
  2. Add the bananas to the caramel left in the saucepan and return to a moderately strong fire. Stir and cook until soft. (approximately 2 minutes). Allow to cool slightly.
  3. Add ice cream, banana-caramel mixture, liquor to the blender and rum, whisk until smooth. Pour the left over caramel over the walls in glass goblets. Pour in the shake and serve.
