Recipes use volumetric containers volume: 1 cup (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cups (st.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (Art.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

Biscuit

  • 2 1/4 Art. premium wheat flour
  • 1/4 tsp fine salt
  • 240 gr. butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 3/4 Art. powdered sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp finely grated lemon peel
  • Vegetable oil, for greasing baking sheets
  • Sugar of various colors, for decoration (by wish)

Glaze

  • 230 gr. white chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp margarine
  • 1 tbsp. l corn syrup
  • 2 tbsp. l milk
  • 1/2 tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Food color in various colors (optional)
  • Confetti, Coconut, Sugar, melted chocolate, for decoration

Recipe preparation:

  1. Cook cookies: sift flour into a bowl and mix with with salt. In a separate bowl, add butter, granulated sugar and beat the powder with a mixer at medium speed, white and lush consistency, approximately 6 min. Increase speed mixer and continuing to beat, gradually add egg yolks. Then vanilla extract and lemon zest. Add flour gradually and mix until smooth. Divide the dough into two parts, wrap in plastic wrap and put in cold place for 1 hour
  2. Place parchment paper in 2 baking sheets and grease with vegetable oil.
  3. Transfer each part of the dough to a separate sheet of parchment, cover on top with another sheet of parchment and roll into a layer about 0.5 cm thick. If the dough is too soft, put on some time in a cold place. Using a round shape with a diameter 5 – 10 cm. Cut out cookies from dough and put on prepared baking sheets with a distance of 5 cm from each other. Re-roll leftover dough and cut out cookies. Sprinkle with colored sugar. To decorate cookies, you can use as a stencil press for mashed potatoes, slotted spoon or spatula with holes. To put cookies in the cold for 1 hour.
  4. Bake cookies preheated to 180 ° C. spirit closet, 12 – 15 min. Then cool the cookies.
  5. Prepare the frosting: place in a heat-resistant bowl glass or metal bowl white chocolate, margarine, corn molasses, milk, powdered sugar and vanilla extract. To put bowl in a pot of boiling water, so that no water touched the bottom of the bowl. Heat the ingredients in a water bath, stirring occasionally until the chocolate melts and the mass will become homogeneous. To give the desired shade of glaze, you can add food coloring.
  6. Apply icing on cookies and let harden. Sprinkle on top confetti cookies, coconut flakes, colored sugar, pour over melted chocolate.
