Spicy Ginger Shrimp Cocktail sauce

Shrimp

  • 2 limes
  • 1 tbsp. chopped peeled ginger
  • 1 bunch of cilantro, only the stems
  • 2 tsp coriander seed
  • 2 tsp fennel seed
  • 1 tsp zira seed
  • 1 tsp black pepper peas
  • 1 kg. large shrimp, peeled from shells and intestinal veins (do not remove the tails)

Recipe preparation:

  1. Make a cocktail sauce: In a small bowl, mix chili sauce, chutney, cilantro, ginger and lime juice. Put in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  2. Boil the shrimp in the meantime: Cut the zest of lime with using a peeler and put in a pan, squeeze the juice there lime and add squeezed limes. Add ginger, cilantro stems, coriander, fennel, zira, pepper and pour 2 liters. cold water. Cover and bring to a boil; cook on low heat 15 minutes. Add shrimp, cover and remove pan from slabs.
