Smoked Salmon Pancakes

These pancakes are prepared as a small snack for a couple of bites, which gives them a more presentable, neat and effective look. Knead pancake dough in milk and a mixture of wheat and buckwheat flour. Its rich characteristic taste will be perfectly combined with smoked fish.   • 2/3 Art. wheat flour

  • 3/4 tsp coarse salt
  • 3/4 Art. + 2 tbsp. l milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 110 gr. melted butter, split
  • 220 gr smoked salmon, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 Art. fresh cream or sour cream
  • Fresh dill for serving

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a bowl, mix both types of flour, baking powder and salt. Вin a separate bowl, beat the milk, egg and 1 tbsp. l ghee, then mix in the flour mixture. Heat 1 tbsp. l ghee in medium-sized pan and pour the dough into 1 tbsp. l in preheated butter. Fry over medium-low heat until bubbles form on surface pancakes, about 2 minutes. Flip and fry 1 more a minute or until golden brown. Repeat the same with the remaining the test. (Between the lots I wipe the hot pan with a dry paper with a towel.)
  2. Before serving, put a piece of smoked on each pancake salmon. Add a spoonful of sour cream and a sprig of dill.
