In a stewpan mix 350 gr. cranberries, 1 green apple, chopped cubes, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1/2 tbsp. Cointreau orange liquor or Grand Marnier, 1/2 tbsp. water and 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon and carnations. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium and cook until the berries begin to crack, about 10 minutes. Turn off the stove, mix with grated zest 1 lemon and orange; cool.
