  • Cooking Oil

For apple sauce:

  • 1.5 kg red unpeeled apples
  • 1 lemon, cut the peel with 3 wide stripes
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Recipe preparation:

  1. Prepare apple sauce: cut apples by 2.5 cm. cubes, pour into a pan, add the peel and lemon juice, put a cinnamon stick, and cook with the lid on medium heat, approx. 15 – 20 min. Remove the cover and increase the temperature to moderately high. Stir apples, rubbing with a spatula, continue cook until thickened, another 10 – 15 minutes. Take out a cinnamon stick. Then rub the apples through a sieve or mash in the kitchen harvester. Leave for serving.
  2. Cook potato pancakes: grate on a large grater potatoes, parsnip root and onions. Wring out the resulting mixture from excess liquid and place in a large bowl. Stir in garlic, eggs, parsley and chives. Then add flour 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper, mix. From the resulting mixture to form, squeezing the excess liquid, 12 thin pies. To lay out on parchment paper.
