Difficulty: easy Servings: 8 In the recipes volumetric containers are used in volume: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cups (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (Art.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 4 large slices of peeled ginger
  • 6 tbsp. apple cider (apple juice with pulp)
  • 1 orange zest, sliced with a fruit knife
  • 1 lemon zest, sliced with a fruit knife
  • 1 to 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 1 red apple, sliced into 8 slices, for decoration
  • Chewing worms, for decoration
  • 1 bottle (750 ml.) Sparkling cranberry-apple drink
  • 1 tbsp. cinnamon whiskey (optional)

Recipe preparation:

  1. Crush slices of ginger with the flat side of a knife and put in medium pan. Add apple cider, orange zest, lemon zest, cinnamon sticks and cloves. Bring to a boil. Cook for 10 minutes. On medium heat, then strain through a fine sieve a grid in a jug. Allow to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for about 1 hour.
  2. Make holes in the apple slices with a toothpick and skewer insert chewing worm into them. Add cranberry-apple wine drink and whiskey, if used. Serve punch in glasses with ice. Garnish with apples. Recipe alcoholic cocktail with apple cider and sparkling wine.
