Bacon Fritters Served with Glazed apples, and smeared with fresh cream and maple sauce syrup. Time: 45 мин.Difficulty: easy Servings: 3 Measured containers are used in recipes volume: 1 cup (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cups (st.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (Art.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1 coreless and thinly sliced green apple (Granny Smith)
- 1 tbsp. l maple syrup, plus 1/4 tbsp.
- 1 tbsp. sifted wheat flour
- Freshly ground salt and white pepper
- 1 whole egg, plus 3 egg yolks
- 1 and 1/4 Art. milk
- 30 gr butter, plus more (softened) for the layer pancakes
- 4 slices of bacon
- Sprinkled sugar
- 1/2 tbsp. whipped cream
- 2 tbsp. l Arroroot (arrowroot starch)
- Pinch of cinnamon

Recipe preparation:
- Make pancake dough by mixing flour and freshly ground salt and pepper in a bowl. Make a hole in the center and beat 1 egg there, add 1 egg yolk and gradually pour in milk, constantly whipping. Put in a cold place for 2 hours.
- Melt in a pan 30 gr. butter. Add it to dough. Pour the dough into the pan and tilt it until the bottom is covered with an even layer. When the top will look like it’s covered with a wax coating, and from below the pancake will be ready, turn it over using a spatula. Fry lightly on the other side and shift Pancake from the pan “second side” up to heated serving dish. (This side will come to readiness later when we put the bacon on it and fry it under the grill in the oven.) Put slices of bacon on top and pour 1 tbsp. l сиропа. Put the dish grill and cook bacon 2.5 min. Bake the second one at this time pancake. When the bacon is fried, the second pancake will be ready. Lay out on a pancake in a circle slices of apples. - Now make the sauce. In a saucepan, heat 1/4 tbsp. maple syrup and cream. Mix the starch arrowroot and the remaining 2 egg yolk and add them to the pan. When the mixture starts lightly boil, add a pinch of cinnamon. Stir constantly to make the sauce not curled up. Remove from heat when it thickens and pour pancakes. Serve right away.
