Partly a dessert, and partly a cocktail, is a Martini by Trisha Yervud, garnished with a layer of whipped cream, consists of three liqueurs mixed with spicy syrup with cloves and cinnamon. Decorate it gingerbread crumbs for added flavor and one 8. + Excessive alcohol harms your health! Time: 45 min Difficulty: Easy Servings: 4 The recipes use measuring containers with a volume of: 1 cup (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (st.) – 120 ml 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 120 ml. vodka
- 120 ml. Irish Cream Liqueur (e.g. Baileys)
- 60 ml. coffee liqueur (e.g. Kalua)
- 60 ml. ginger syrup (see recipe below)
- 2 tablespoons softened vanilla ice cream
- Whipping cream for decoration
- A small handful of chopped ginger cookies
Ginger Syrup:
- 1 tbsp. Sahara
- 1 tbsp. water
- 5 clove buds
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 (5 cm.) Piece of sliced fresh ginger

Recipe preparation:
- In a cocktail shaker, mix Irish liquor, vodka, coffee liquor, ginger syrup and vanilla ice cream. Add ice and beat well. Pour into chilled martini glasses. From above garnish each glass with a large portion of whipped cream and sprinkle gingerbread cookie crumbs.
- Ginger syrup: Pour water into a small pan, put sugar, cloves, cinnamon and ginger. Bring to a boil on moderately high heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature before use, about 20 мин. Cover and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
