Maghreb Pear Cake

Today I propose to make a culinary journey, and not simple but thematic. Almost every capital of the world loves homemade cakes, and everyone, even a very small people, has their own wuxes in this area. Sometimes product combinations can – on the “alien” taste – seem unusual and even exotic.

But who knows, maybe this baked exotic will become your beloved and branded in the family! So here we go:

Pear Maghreb Pie

for 350g of flour (it’s 1.5 cups take:

  • 2 tablespoons of sand
  • a pinch of salt
  • 3 testicles
  • 150g butter
  • 200g peeled almonds
  • pears “conference” 4 things
  • apricot or peach jam 150g

You can make Maghreb pie So:

We chop the flour with butter, we need to get crumbs. Add 1 egg, salt, mix until smooth. masses. Pour two tablespoons of iced water, knead the dough into a ball. Wrap our dough with foil and put in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

And while the dough is cooling, we chop the almonds in a blender until medium crumbs.

Add the remaining two eggs, sugar two tablespoons of flour, knead the dough thoroughly. Knead the dough with our hands (right in baking dish) for a thin base with sides. Make beads about 4 cm high. Next on the dough we spread the almond crumb even layer. We clear the peels from the skin and the core, do not cut very finely and spread them in rows on a pie, a little squeezing almond.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and set the pie at 30-35 minutes (we should get golden pears) Arikosovy ( peach) jam diluted with hot tea leaves (without tea leaves) to it turned out to be a sticky mass, so we pour it on our hot cake. Cake Magribky cool and you can call guests !!
