Lemon Tiramisu trifle

The main advantages of this dessert is that it does not requires baking, looks very impressive and insanely tasty. it a cross between English treifle and Italian tiramisu. It’s better to make it in a transparent glass dish so that you can see contrasting beautiful layers of dessert. Lay out biscuit cookies, pour lemon syrup, then – a gentle cream of cream cheese mixed with custard lemon and plenty fresh berries. Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 250 gr lemon kurd
  • 1/4 Art. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 Art. granulated sugar
  • 350 gr softened cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp. fat cream
  • 22 sticks of savoyardi
  • 3 tbsp. mix raspberries and chopped strawberries
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Whipped cream for serving

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a small measuring glass, mix lemon juice with sugar and 1/4 Art. water to completely dissolve the sugar.
  2. Put cream cheese cream, lemon kurd and fat cream in food processor and mix until smooth, slightly curvy masses.
  3. To collect tiramisu, put half the sticks cookies on the bottom of a square baking dish with a side of 20 cm. Break a few sticks to fit. Sprinkle cookies with half lemon syrup. Put half on top lemon cream and 1 tbsp. berry mixture. Repeat layers again using the remaining cookies, syrup and lemon cream.
  4. Cover the mold with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight. Put on top before serving the remaining 2 tbsp. berries and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with whipped cream.
