Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 3/4 Art. orzo pasta
  • 250 gr minced pork
  • 3 tbsp. low-fat chicken stock
  • 250 gr young spinach
  • 1 tbsp. l olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chop finely
  • 3 carrots, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chop finely
  • 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh sage
  • 1 crust of parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp. l grated parmesan
  • 3 tbsp. l breadcrumbs

Recipe preparation:

  1. Cook vegetables: heat olive in a large saucepan butter. Add onions, carrots and sauté, stirring, about 4 minutes. Add half the garlic and 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce and sage, fry for 1 min. chicken stock, 3 cups of water and put the parmesan peel, bring to a boil. Reduce temperature to medium and cook covered lid, until tender, about 7 minutes.
  2. Prepare meatballs: stir in a bowl of pork minced meat, bread crumbs, 1 tbsp. l grated parmesan remaining garlic, add 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce and sage. Blind small (2.5 cm.) meatballs.
  3. Cook the soup: increase the temperature and bring the soup to boiling. Add orzo paste and cook for 6 minutes. Add meatballs and cook until they pop up, about 4 minutes more. Mix in spinach and cook, about 1 more minute. Spill soup with meatballs on plates and sprinkle with parmesan.
