Homemade Peach Ice Cream

  • 5 large ripe peaches, peeled and pitted, chopped

  • 350 ml. peach nectar
  • 1 tbsp. Sahara
  • 120 gr. sour cream
  • 2 tbsp. fat cream
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • Pecan Praline Sauce, see recipe below

Pecan Praline Sauce

  • 2.5 tbsp. chopped pecans
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. corn syrup
  • 110 gr. melted butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Recipe preparation:

  1. Put chopped peaches in a pan. Add water and peach nectar. Simmer until peaches are tender. soft, about 10 minutes. Then remove the pan from the stove and drain peach juice. Put the peaches in a large bowl. Add sugar and cool to room temperature.
  2. Add sour cream, peach cream, vanilla extract to peaches and lemon juice. Grind everything with a hand blender. (If a you don’t have a hand blender, you can use the kitchen harvester). Remove the ice cream maker from the freezer and turn it on apparatus. Pour the peach mixture into the ice cream maker and run it in according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Then shift the finished ice cream in a container and put in the freezer.
  3. Serve ice cream by pouring it with warm praline sauce with pecans.
  4. Pecan Praline Sauce:

    Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. over moderate heat. Then turn down the heat and cook, stirring frequently, 10 minutes to syrup. Serve warm. The sauce can be stored covered in the fridge.

    Note

    A few hours before you start making ice cream, put the freezer bowl in the freezer.
