- 1 ginger root (15 cm.), Peeled, chopped thinly straws

- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp fennel seed
- 1 medium red onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp homemade seasoning garam masala recipe see below
- 1/4 – 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tbsp. Sahara
- 2 tbsp. l cider vinegar
Homemade seasoning Garam Masala
- 3 large cinnamon sticks
- 3 tbsp. l whole cloves
- 1/4 Art. green cardamom pods, peel and discard the husk (about 2 tbsp. seeds)
- 4 large black cardamom pods, peel and discard the husk (about 1 tbsp. l. seeds), optional

Recipe preparation:
