- 450 gr chopped fresh figs
- 1.5 tbsp. Sahara
- Seeds 1/2 Vanilla Pod
- A pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp. l lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. l ruby port
- Pinch of pepper

Recipe preparation:
- Mix figs, sugar, vanilla seeds and a pinch of salt in a saucepan. Put the pan on the stove and heat at medium temperature, while stirring, the sugar will not dissolve. Continue cooking, sometimes stirring for another 20 minutes. (Check availability jam, dripping on a chilled dish, the drop should harden). Remove pan from stove. Stir in lemon juice, port and a pinch pepper.
