Festive shortbread with fruit and nuts

Recipe preparation:

  1. Cooking cakes: Preheat the oven to 150C. In a bowl medium size with a hand mixer, whisk the butter and sugar. In a small bowl, mix the salt and flour and add to the butter 1/4 tbsp. at a time. Stir until smooth. Do not mix too long. Form a ball from the dough; if the dough is soft or fat is released, refrigerate it for 15 minutes. Roll out the dough into a layer 1 cm thick and cut into 1.5×5 cm rectangles. Place the dough on a cold, ungreased baking sheet. Bake cookies 20 minutes, until the edges begin to brown.
