Deep Fried Onion Sauce

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 large onions
  • 4 tbsp. l (60 gr.) Butter
  • 1/4 Art. vegetable oil
  • 1/4 tsp ground cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp ground black pepper
  • 120 gr. cream cheese cream at room temperature
  • 0.5 tbsp. sour cream
  • 0.5 tbsp. mayonnaise

Recipe preparation:

  1. Cut the onion in half, and then cut into half rings thick 0.3 cm. (You will have about 3 tablespoons of onion). In a large frying pan on moderate heat, heat butter and vegetable oil. Add onion, cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper and fry for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to moderately low and fry, stirring, another 20 minutes, until the onion is browned and caramelized. Cool the onion.
  2. Put cream cheese, sour cream and mayonnaise in a mixer bowl with with a spatula and beat until smooth. Add onion and mix well. Taste it. Serve Dip room temperature.
