Crumble apple pie with almond baby

Boiled apples with cinnamon and cloves serve as a filling in this homemade pie.

  • 2.5 tbsp. premium flour, plus more for rolling

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 14 tbsp. l diced cold butter
  • 1 large egg and 2 tbsp. l cold water

Filling

  • 1.3 kg apples
  • 2 tbsp. l lemon juice
  • 2/3 Art. brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp. l (60 gr.) Butter
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Streisel

  • 1 tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tbsp. Sahara
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp. l (90 gr.) Butter at room temperature
  • 1/2 tbsp. chopped almonds

Recipe preparation:

  1. For the dough: mix flour, sugar and salt in the kitchen combine to homogeneity. Add oil and stir until mixture will look like yellow cornmeal mixed with pieces of butter the size of a pea.
