Cocktail Margarita with Prosecco

Sparkling wine Prosecco will give “Margarita” a more pleasant light taste, filling it with its cheerful bubbles. In this form, a cocktail becomes more festive and sophisticated. For cooking mix in a large jug all the ingredients of the classic Margaritas: tequila, Cointreau orange liqueur and freshly squeezed juice lime by adding sugar syrup to taste. Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1.5 tbsp. freshly squeezed lime juice (from about 15 limes) + serving wedges
  • 1 tbsp. tequila blanco, or to taste
  • 0.5 tbsp. Cointreau
  • 0.5 tbsp. sugar syrup, or to taste
  • Coarse salt, for the rim
  • 1 bottle (750 ml.) Chilled prosecco

Recipe preparation:

  1. Mix lime juice, tequila, Cointreau and sugar syrup in a jug. Mix well.
  2. On a shallow plate, spread a layer of salt. Moisten the bezel glasses with a wedge of lime and dip in salt. Scroll the glass to completely cover the wet part of the rim. Repeat the same decorating the remaining glasses.
  3. Fill the glasses with ice and then fill them half with the mixture. tequila and lime. Add prosecco to each serving, decorate slices of lime and serve. Simple sugar syrup: mix equal parts of sugar and water and heat until sugar dissolves, then cool.
