Recipe preparation:
- Combine jam and sugar in a small saucepan. Good mix, place on low heat and cook, stirring, until sugar will not dissolve.
- Cut the peel of oranges, cut into slices, and then cut each piece into four pieces by removing the white veins in center. Put in a medium bowl.
- Pour a mixture of sugar with jam and champagne into a bowl with oranges. Refrigerate for 8 hours.
- Sprinkle with almonds before serving and garnish with a sprig of mint.
