Champagne granite

Share with friends: Photo of Granite from champagneTime: 4 hours. 40 min Difficulty: easy Servings: 8 In the recipes volumetric containers are used in volume: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cups (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (Art.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 tbsp. Sahara
  • 1 tbsp. water
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 (750 ml.) Bottle of champagne or any sparkling white wine chilled

Recipe preparation:

  1. Mix sugar and 1 tbsp. water in a stewpan. Bring to a boil and mix until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and keep in refrigerator until cool, about 1 hour.
  2. Using a peeler, peel the zest from one lemon. Squeeze juice from both lemons.
  3. Open champagne or sparkling wine and pour it into a mold 23 x 30 cm in size and 5 cm high. Mix with lemon syrup juice and grated zest. Put the mixture in the freezer. Check out in 30 minutes. Using a wooden spoon, break the ice formed on the sides and mix. Keep on freezing and repeat this procedure every hour for at least 3 hours. Before serving, loosen granite, crush with a spoon lumps formed or carefully beat the frozen mixture. Spoon granite into glasses and serve.
