For the potato layer:

  • 680 gr. potato varieties russet
  • 1/4 Art. low-fat cream (10-12%)
  • 55 gr. butter
  • 3/4 tsp coarse salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 egg yolk

For meat filling:

  • 700 gr. minced lamb meat
  • 2 tsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp. chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Worcester sauce
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary leaves
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 tbsp. l canola oil
  • 1 tbsp. chopped onion
  • 2 peeled and diced carrots
  • 2 minced cloves of garlic
  • 1 tsp coarse salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp. l flour
  • 1/2 tbsp. fresh or frozen corn kernels
  • 1/2 tbsp. fresh or frozen green peas

Recipe preparation:

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into 1.5 cm slices. Put in medium-sized pan and fill with cold water. Put on strong fire, cover and bring to a boil. When the water boil, remove the lid, reduce heat to maintain a weak boil and cook until soft, about 10-15 minutes, and slightly crush with forceps. Put the cream and butter in a container for microwave and warm for about 35 seconds. Flip the potatoes on a colander and put it back in the pan. Mash the potatoes then add cream, butter, salt and pepper and continue knead until smooth. Add the egg yolk and well mix.
  2. While potatoes are cooked, prepare the filling. In the pan 30 cm in diameter. Pour canola oil and set to moderate strong fire. When the oil is covered with a film, add onion and carrots and fry until they begin to brown, about 3-4 minutes Add garlic and mix. Add minced meat, salt and pepper and fry until tender, about 3 minutes. Sprinkle the meat with flour and mix while continuing to cook another minute. Add tomato pasta, chicken stock, Worcester sauce, rosemary, thyme and mix. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer slowly for 10-12 minutes, until the sauce is slightly thickened.
  3. Preheat the oven to 205 ° C. Add the corn and peas and evenly place the filling in a glass form 28×18 cm. Put mashed potatoes on top, starting from the edges to make a layer that will not allow the filling to boil. Flatten Silicone shoulder blade. Place a small baking sheet on the parchment in the middle of the oven and bake for 25 minutes until the potatoes begin brown. Before serving, set to cool on the wire rack. less than 15 minutes
