Candied tangerine peels (candied fruit)

Photo Candied tangerine peels (candied fruit) Time: 50 min Difficulty: easy Servings: 4 – 6 capacity: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cups (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teahouse spoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 450 gr tangerine peel (without white portion)
  • 5 tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp. water

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a medium-sized pan, put the tangerine peel, sugar and water. Bring to a boil over high heat. When the mixture boils reduce heat to medium and simmer at low boil for about 30 мин.
  2. When the crusts are soft, remove the pan from the heat and let cool off. Put in a jar and store. Serve at room temperature with a glass of water (traditional) or with yogurt or ice cream.
