Cake “Mummy”

Filling and Glaze

  • 1.5 tbsp. fat cream
  • 0.75 Art. sifted cocoa powder
  • 220 gr crushed semisweet chocolate
  • 1 tsp espresso powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of fine salt
  • 2 tbsp. l (30 gr.) Butter
  • 0.33 Art. sifted icing sugar

Decoration

  • 2 tbsp. mini marshmallows (about 110 gr.)
  • Sugar spider or eyes

Recipe preparation:

  1. Make a biscuit: center the wire rack oven and preheat to 180 ° C. Lay out the bottom of both cake tins parchment paper and grease the parchment and the walls of the mold vegetable oil.
  2. Mix cocoa powder and boiling water for 5 minutes. (this will help make the chocolate taste more saturated).

Draw the decoration: warm the marshmallows in microwave until they begin to increase in size and become soft enough to mix them. Let stand a few minutes to cool a little. Spray your hands with a cooking spray. To make a web, take a marshmallow ball from a tablespoon and stretch a strip across the cake. Do this several times in different directions to get a web-like mesh from marshmallows. To draw a mummy, stretch the marshmallows so that stripes on the cake went in one direction, leaving a small gap between them for the eyes. Garnish with sugar spider or paste eyes for the mummy.
