Brazilian Brigadeiro Truffles

  • 2 tbsp. l cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp fine salt
  • Chocolate fine granules for deboning
  • Multicolored pastry topping

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a small saucepan, mix condensed milk, cream butter, cocoa powder, vanilla extract and salt. Put on medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly with a wooden a spoon. Reduce heat to moderately low and continue stirring. for about 8 minutes, until the mixture thickens, at while stirring, make sure that the mixture does not stick to the bottom. Take off fire and transfer the mixture to a bowl. Cover with cling film and refrigerate until completely cooled for 2 hours.
  2. Lightly grease hands with butter. Using a tablespoon or a small cooking scoop, scoop up a little truffle mass and roll up a small ball with your hands, the size of which allows put it in your mouth.
