Who says jam is a seasonal dish? Experienced cooks know that assorted preserves can be prepared all year round! Are going apples, oranges and … vegetables! Taste, color, consistency – everything delights in this recipe. In general, the combination of carrots + oranges is considered quite famous. and won a well-deserved culinary success. Addition to this a company of apples and tomatoes makes the dish even tastier and more unusual!

To make assorted preserves, you will need:

  • Apples (necessarily sour variety!) – 1kg. Most commonly used for such recipes Antonovka or Granny Smith.
  • Tomatoes (variety with dense (!) Pulp) – 1kg.
  • Carrots (choose a bright orange root crop) – 1kg.
  • Orange (better grade with thin skin) – 3pcs.
  • Sugar – 3kg.
  • Water – 400ml.

The ingredients are available all year round, so this dessert can cook in the winter.

You can make original assorted jam So:

Wash the oranges well and cut them together with straws. Cut apples, carrots, tomatoes in exactly the same way. Then the food will be uniform and beautiful.

Cook the syrup from the indicated amount of sugar and water. Once the solution boils, dip the ingredients into it in the following order: carrots, apples, tomatoes.

Bring the mass to a boil and let cool.

Bring the future delicacy back to a boil and after 3 minutes add oranges. Wait until it boils again, cool mass.

The final stage of cooking is extended to 15 minutes. Spill the jam boiling into pre-sterilized jars. Close lids.
