Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 apples (225 gr.), To get 1 tbsp. grated apples
  • 1 egg of category CO
  • 2/3 Art. natural yogurt
  • 1 tbsp. wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp. l ultrafine sugar
  • Cooking Oil
  • Maple syrup (or powdered sugar and ground cinnamon) for filing

Recipe preparation:

  1. Beat an egg with yogurt and milk (or only yogurt if you use natural with normal fat content). In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and sugar. Peel an apple from peels, cut into 4 parts, remove the core, and then grate. I use a food processor, although a large microplane grater or the other will do it easier, I think. Pour the yogurt mixture in a bowl with flour, put grated apples and mix.
  2. Pour 0.5 cm of oil into the pan and set it on fire. Spread the dough with a spoon (I use round soup for this spoon) in sizzling oil. Silicone blade (the one you use so that the dough does not creep) remove the dough from a spoon and squeeze the small pancakes in the pan. Don’t worry if they it’s not perfect round, I like it when it turns out a bit shabby and crooked. Fry for 1-2 minutes until fritters become golden brown below. From above it will be seen how they start to fry. Turn the pancakes over with 2 metal blades and fry another minute on the other side. Put the pancakes on a paper towel tray to absorb excess fat, and continue cooking until the dough is over. Pour maple syrup.
