Impossibly summer, fresh as the wind, sangria came to us from Of Spain. Red and white sangria, the recipe of which varies by different, much tastier than industrial wines. Natural aroma, lack of preservatives and fragrances – the main advantage spanish drink.
White Sangria. Homemade Recipe
At its core, sangria is a fruit punch, but with its own characteristics and mood. Summer from a wine drink nothing is required except for lightness and freshness. Sangria is thirsty is always. To prepare white sangria at home, we will need:
- Semi-sweet white wine – 0.7l.
- Sparkling or clean cold water – 0.5l.

Fruits:
- Grapefruit – 1 pc.
- Peaches or apricots (2 or 8pcs.)
- Lemon – a pair of wedges.
- Cinnamon to taste.
- Plum (dark, for color contrast – 2-3pcs.)
For those who don’t like the fatal bitterness of grapefruit, I can advise removing bitter-acid films. For white sangria it is better to take a yellow grapefruit. Do not remove all transparencies. Gentle hint the bitterness goes well with the sweetness of peach or apricot. Moreover, the wine is semi-sweet.
You can cook white sangria at home So:
Peaches or apricots (you can have both) cut into pieces.
Separate grapefruit slices slightly from white films, cut slices.
Do not cut a lot of lemon. If the drink wants to acidify, You can always add lemon juice after.
Put the fruit on the bottom of the jug. (I like it a transparent jug, not a carafe).
Pour wine, add water (to taste and desired strength). But, Do not forget that the fruit will secrete juice!
The longer the “conspiracy” of wine, water and fruit lasts, the more aromatic becomes a drink. From 3 to 8 hours – focus on it time. Before quenching thirst, put in glasses ice.
