Tomato sauce “Marinara”

This thick Aina marinara sauce with fresh garlic and a drop red wine, designed for those evenings when you need the most the fastest of all quick pasta dinners (see recipe). Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 can (800 ml.) Chopped pulp of tomatoes or mashed potatoes from plum tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp. l olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. chopped onions (1 head)
  • 1.5 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp. red wine (e.g. Chianti)
  • 1 tbsp. l chopped parsley
  • 1.5 tsp coarse salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a large frying pan (30 cm in diameter), warm the olive butter. Put onions and fry over medium heat until transparent, 5-10 minutes Add the garlic and cook another minute. Pour in the wine and cook over high heat, scraping the fried slices with pan until almost all of the liquid has evaporated, about 3 minutes. Add tomatoes, parsley, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer on the very low heat 15 min.
