Spicy Pineapple Margarita

Photo Spicy Margarita with Pineapple Photo of the dish: Райан ЛибеTime: 5 minutes Difficulty: easy Amount: 2 margaritas In recipes volumetric containers are used in volume: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cups (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (Art.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 120 gr. high quality silver tequila
  • 50 gr agave syrup or simple syrup
  • 4 (2.5 cm thick) slices of pineapple, plus slices for side dish
  • 2 sprigs of fresh cilantro
  • 2 (about a centimeter thick) slices of red chili pepper (with seeds), and also for garnishing
  • 120 gr. pineapple juice
  • 60 gr lime juice (from 2 lemons)
  • 30 gr triple sec orange liquor
  • Coarse salt, to decorate glasses (optional)

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a large shaker, mix tequila, syrup, pineapple, cilantro and pepper Chile; remember the end of a wooden spoon.
  2. Add pineapple juice, lime juice and triple sec to the shaker and fill with ice. Cover and shake for 15 seconds.
  3. Strain the cocktail in 2 glasses of rock filled with ice. (When wish to decorate the edges of the glasses with salt, after dipping them in lime juice). Garnish the margarita with pineapple wedges and chili peppers. (see another variation of this cocktail)
