  1. Prepare the products: Rowan jam
  2. Sort the mountain ash, rinse and soak in water for a day. Change the water periodically. It is better to change it 3-4 times. So rowan will become less bitter. Rowan jam
  3. Cook sugar syrup. Sugar to take 1: 1 from the weight of mountain ash, water – 0.5: 1 by weight of mountain ash. That is, for 1 kg of mountain ash we take 1 kg of sugar and 0.5 l water.
  4. When the syrup boils, dip the rowan berries (water from them pre-drain). After boiling, cook for another 20 minutes. Cool and boil for another 30 minutes.
  5. Pour the finished jam into sterilized jars. Rowan jam
