Ingredients for the recipe:
- 6 pcs fillet of cod or haddock (170 gr. each)
- 1/2 tbsp. wheat flour
- 2 tsp fragrant spices (see ingredients below)
- 1/4 Art. olive oil
- 1/2 tbsp. table vinegar
- 1/4 Art. fresh orange juice
- 1/2 tbsp. thinly chopped onions
- 1/2 tbsp. thinly chopped red bell pepper
- 1 tbsp. l chopped garlic
- 2 tbsp. l coarsely grated orange zest
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp Sahara
- 2 sliced across the orange
- 3 tbsp. l chopped fresh cilantro
Creole Spice Mix:
- 2.5 tbsp. l paprika
- 2 tbsp. l salt
- 2 tbsp. l garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. l black pepper
- 1 tbsp. l onion powder
- 1 tbsp. l cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp. l dried oregano leaves
- 1 tbsp. l dried thyme
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly and store in sealed jar or container

Recipe preparation:
- Mix the flour with Creole seasoning and lightly roll the fish in this mixture, flicking off excess. In a large skillet over medium Heat the oil over high heat. Put the fish and fry until readiness, 2-3 minutes from each side. Transfer to glass or a ceramic baking dish large enough to put the fish in one layer.
- In a bowl, mix the remaining ingredients and vinegar. Pour on fish, cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 12 and up to 24 hours, periodically turning over the fish and watering it marinade. Get the fish out of the fridge. Put it on the dish garnish with slices of orange and sprinkle with cilantro. Serve.
