Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 small shallot, finely chopped
  • 1/2 stalk of celery, cut into thin slices
  • 1 radish, cut into thin slices
  • Salt and Freshly Ground Peppers
  • 150 ml. chilled vodka
  • 150 ml. chilled tomato juice
  • 1 lemon, cut in half
  • 1 tsp bitter “Angostura”
  • 2 tsp creamy horseradish
  • 1/4 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp hot sauce

Recipe preparation:

  1. Place shallots in a sieve and rinse under cold water (This will help the onion to remain crispy and remove some of the onion aroma), let the water drain. Transfer the onion into a bowl, add celery, radish, salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Mix vodka, tomato juice, juice of one half in a jug lemon, bitter, creamy horseradish, Worcestershire sauce and spicy sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Put a little ice in two glasses. Add in a tablespoon vegetable mixture, then pour the tomato mixture, filling the glasses with three a quarter. Add one more spoonful of the vegetable mixture. Splash some vodka and squeeze the juice from the remaining half of the lemon.
