Difficulty: easy Quantity: 2 cocktails B recipes use measured containers with a volume of: 1 glass (tbsp.) – 240 ml 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cups (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp. l.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1 small shallot, finely chopped
- 1/2 stalk of celery, cut into thin slices
- 1 radish, cut into thin slices
- Salt and Freshly Ground Peppers
- 150 ml. chilled vodka
- 150 ml. chilled tomato juice
- 1 lemon, cut in half
- 1 tsp bitter “Angostura”
- 2 tsp creamy horseradish
- 1/4 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp hot sauce

Recipe preparation:
- Place shallots in a sieve and rinse under cold water (This will help the onion to remain crispy and remove some of the onion aroma), let the water drain. Transfer the onion into a bowl, add celery, radish, salt and pepper to taste.
- Mix vodka, tomato juice, juice of one half in a jug lemon, bitter, creamy horseradish, Worcestershire sauce and spicy sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Put a little ice in two glasses. Add in a tablespoon vegetable mixture, then pour the tomato mixture, filling the glasses with three a quarter. Add one more spoonful of the vegetable mixture. Splash some vodka and squeeze the juice from the remaining half of the lemon.
