Olive oil with basil – a detailed recipe cooking. Time: 10 мин. In recipes volumetric containers are used in volume: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cups (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (Art.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1 bunch of basil
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
Recipe preparation:
- Tear the leaves from the basil and place in a blender with olive oil. Puree until smooth. Pour the mixture into a large saucepan. or frying pan and bring to a boil over moderate heat in within 3 minutes
- Strain through a fine-mesh strainer into a sterilized airtight jar or bottle. Store basil oil in cool, dark place for up to 1 week.
