Difficulty: easy Quantity: About 1 liter The recipes use volumetric measuring tanks with a volume of: 1 cup (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (Art.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 120 gr. smoked bacon, cut into small pieces
- 3/4 Art. beef broth or any meat broth
- 1.5 tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp. table 5% vinegar
- 1/4 Art. dark brown sugar
- 1/4 Art. ketchup
- 2 tsp dried bell pepper flakes
- 1 tsp chili powder (mix of spices with chili recipe see here)
- Coarse salt

Recipe preparation:
- Mix bacon, beef broth, both vinegar in a saucepan, brown sugar, ketchup, pepper flakes, chili powder and 1 tbsp. l salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce the temperature and cook when boil until fat melts from the bacon, approximately 15 min Remove the pan from the stove and leave the sauce to infuse for 20 minutes. Remove the bacon from the sauce. Serve hot sauce preheating it before serving.
