Mulled wine with honey

The finest thing about this hot drink from Alton Brown is that it is fully cooked in a percolator (geyser coffee maker). And this means you can pour yourself a cup of mulled wine with wine and orange zest, straight from the kettle. Difficulty: easy Servings: 10 The recipes use volumetric containers: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 bottles (750 ml.) Of red wine
  • 6 peas of allspice
  • 1 tbsp. l peppercorns black pepper
  • 2 stars star anise (star anise)
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 piece (2.5 cm.) Sliced fresh ginger
  • 3 long strips of orange zest
  • 3 long strips of lemon peel
  • 3/4 Art. honey

Recipe preparation:
