Mojito slush cocktail

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1/2 tbsp. light rum
  • 1 tbsp. Sahara
  • 1 tbsp. water
  • 1/4 Art. fresh mint leaves (tamp tightly)
  • 1/2 tbsp. fresh lime juice (from 4-6 limes)
  • 2 lime zest
  • 8 tbsp. crushed ice
  • Mint twigs and lime slices, for decoration

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and water. Cook about 5 minutes, stirring often until sugar dissolves, and syrup will not become transparent. Allow to cool.
  2. Transfer sugar syrup, lime juice, mint leaves to a blender, zest of lime and rum and beat until smooth. Add ice and beat until a thick, loose ice mass is obtained. With a spoon shift into glasses, garnish with a sprig of mint and a slice of lime.
