- 1/2 tbsp. fresh lime juice (from 4-6 limes)
- 2 lime zest
- 8 tbsp. crushed ice
- Mint twigs and lime slices, for decoration

Recipe preparation:
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and water. Cook about 5 minutes, stirring often until sugar dissolves, and syrup will not become transparent. Allow to cool.
- Transfer sugar syrup, lime juice, mint leaves to a blender, zest of lime and rum and beat until smooth. Add ice and beat until a thick, loose ice mass is obtained. With a spoon shift into glasses, garnish with a sprig of mint and a slice of lime.
