Such a cocktail served with a lot of crushed ice, which makes itself ice drink, for this purpose julep was previously served in special tin or silver glasses, they kept the drink in frozen state and did not allow the ice to melt quickly. Recipe:
In a saucepan, bring to a boil for 1.5 tbsp. water and sugar and 2 tbsp. mint, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Remove from heat and leave for 1 hour. Then strain and cool.
